- Description
- Nonpersonal services, indefinite quantity contracts for providing all necessary labor, materials and facilities for the pickup; receipt; weighing; preparation of packing list(s), inventories, or other appropriate documentation; placement into permanent storage; temporary storage; placement into non-temporary storage; emergency storage of Privately Owned Vehicles (POV) (long term storage); placement into controlled storage; export packing; delivery to pier; and delivery; unpacking and all related services; including servicing of appliances; to/from residence for the household and personal effects, and POV arriving in and departing from the Washington, D. C. Metropolitan area. Indefinite quantity contracts are intended as a result of this solicitation. Multiple awards are anticipated. Awards will made to at least two(2) small business. While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award decision shall be based upon a combination of price and other evaluation factors including past performance as described in the solicitation. The Government plans to issue the solicitation on or about February 19, 2002, at the following Internet address http://state.monmouth.army.mil/ then go to U.S. Department of State Business Opportunities to review solicitation and then go to Secured Services to subscribe to the list serve to receive e-mails when the RFP is launched to the net.
