Description
The Maintenance and Logistic Command, Pacific proposes a multi-year Indefinite Delivery type contract for the topside paint repairs for all Coast Guard Cutters (WAGBs, WHECs WMECs, ATONs, WPBs) in the Pacific Area including Alaska, Washington State, Oregon, California, Hawaii, and Guam. All work will be performed at the various cutters home moorages. The work performance periods will be coordinated with the contractor and cutters. A Request for Proposals (RFP) will be issued on or about 27 February 2002. Potential offerors are advised that when released, the solicitation, specification and other notifications will be posted on the web at: www.eps.gov. Work items will include preservation of aluminum and steel superstructure and weatherdecks, non-skid deck coatings and slip resistant sheets, etc. The solicitation will be issued under the provisions of the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. All responsive sources may submit an offer, which will be considered by this agency. ATTENTION: Minority, Women-Owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE). The Department of Transportation (DOT), Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
