Description

Z--Contractor to provide Phase I Inspection of above-ground fuel tank IAW API 653 Out-of-Service Inspection to locate any leaks or repairs, conduct out-briefing to discuss findings & recommendations and provide a written report of recommendations for repair. After receiving report & estimate for repairs under Phase I Inspection, the Government may elect to award Phase II Repair at a fixed-price to be negotiated at that time. The estimate of repairs shall include repair of welds, supply/install edge seal to the floating pan, realignment of floating pan, adjustment of the ATG tape, & recoating all interior surfaces that are experiencing coating failure with an epoxy polyamide. Performance time: 15 calendar days for Phase I & 45 calendar days for Phase II. Potential quoters should request RFP F30617-02-R-0003 in writing, by letter or fax (716) 236-2357. Tentative issue date on or about 4 Apr 02 with RFP closing date 30 days thereafter. The NAICS code is 235990 & the SIC Code is 1799. The small business size standard is $11.5 Million. Firm fixed-price construction contract. Full & Open Competition with an evaluation preference for HUBZone concerns. The estimated magnitude of construction is between $100,000 and $250,000. All quoters must be registered in the CCR for award.
