Description

NA The US Army CECOM under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 proposes to solicit Raytheon on a sole source basis for the production of up-to 385 Secure, Mobile, Anti-Jam, Reliable, Tactical Terminals (SMART-T), associated spares, 5 year warranty and support servic es. This acquisition will be placed as a Five-Year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract which consists of five ordering periods. Deliveries to begin 15 months ARO. This action will be pursued on a sole source basis with Raytheon C o., Raytheon Electonic Systems, 1001 Boston Post Rd., Marlborough, MA 01752 IAW the authority of FAR 6.302-1 and 10 USC 2304 (c)(1). The Government does not possess the technical data to provide to prospective offerors, however all responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the Agency. The US Army Communications and Electronics Command (CECOM) has established the Army Business Opportunities Page (ABOP) web site to allow the electronic transmittal of solicitations from CECOM to i ndustry. This solicitation is expected to be issued on or about February 19, 2002 and will be posted to the Army Business Opportunities Page (https://abop.monmouth.army.mil). See Numbered Note 22.
