Description
FA7046-02-R-0001 Air Force Operational Test and Evaluation Center (AFOTEC) Small Business Operational Test Support (SBOTS). The SBOTS notice released on 10 Sep 02 is superceded in its entirety by this notice. It is the intent of the government to award an Information Technology (IT) services contract, and two (2) General Operational Support (GOS) contracts. Future reference to the upcoming solicitations will be IT and GOS. The INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SERVICES effort will be solicited under Full and Open Competition on an unrestricted basis. We anticipate a three-year contract with an estimated value of $3M. An IT services sources sought synopsis and a draft request for proposal will be posted at the Fedbizopps website in Feb 02 describing the IT requirements. Proposals for the effort will be due in Apr 02 with contract award scheduled for late Jul 02. The types of services to be acquired under this effort include, but are not limited to maintenance and expansion of a web-based business environment. The NAICS code for the IT effort is 541511. One award will be made for the IT effort. GENERAL OPERATIONAL SUPPORT CONTRACTS: Under the GOS effort, two 60-month Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) contracts with delivery order provisions will be competitively awarded, one to a small business and one to a HUBZone. The estimated value of the GOS award is $15M to $25M for the small business and $10M to $15M for the HUBZone. A GOS sources sought synopsis and a draft request for proposal will be posted at the Fedbizopps website in Mar 02 and April 02, respectively. Proposals will be due in Jun 02 with contract award scheduled for late Sep 02. The types of services to be acquired under this effort include, but are not limited to multi disciplinary technical, analytical, functional and testing support covering all Air Force systems. The NAICS code for the GOS effort is 541710, with a size standard of 1500.
