Description
NA This proposed procurement is 100% small business set-aside, SIC 1629/NAICS 234930, small business size standard $27.5 million. Estimated cost of construction is between $100,000.00 and $500,000.00. Completion no later than 194 calendar days. This projec t consists of felling of trees and the removal of brush along both sides of East and Mill Creeks. It also involves the clear and grub of three acres around a residential area. Erosion and sediment will be controlled with means established by the Maryland Department of Environment. The replacing of 6,900 linear feet of fence, one trash rack gate and five walk-in gates will be required. Finally, it includes the addition of 60 feet of 24-inch reinforced concrete pipe, the fill of 300 cubic feet of soil and a concrete discharge structure in an area adjacent to the Dalecarlia Parkway. All responsi-ble sources may submit a bid which shall be consid-ered by the agency. The solicitation will be provided in an electronic format, free of charge, to all registere d plan holders. The media through which the Government chooses to issue this solicitation will be the Internet only. This solicitation will not be issued in paper. Contractors? requests for this solicitation will be performed through ASFI. Contractors may register to be placed on the Bidders/Offerors mailing lists by going to the website: https://ebs.nab.usace.army.mil. In order to comply with the Debt Collection Improvement Act of 1996, all contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Regi stration (CCR) to be considered for award of a Federal contract. It is imperative that all small disadvantaged business contact their cognizant Small Business Administration Office to obtain Small Disadvantaged Business Certification. Without SBA SDB certification, a prime contractor nor a federal agency can receive SDB cred it when utilizing non-certified SDB contractors/ subcontractors. Issuance on or about 31 December 2001, bid opening date on or about 31 January 2002.
