Description

The contractor shall provide all labor, management, supervision, and equipment to remove damaged electrical wiring between street light poles and replace, remove four broken street light pole bases and replace with four new poles and fixtures. Estimated Cost Range is $25,000 - $100,000. NAICS 235310 Electrical Contractors, Small Business Standard $12.0 million. This acquisition is being conducted using full and open competition (unrestricted) and is therefore subject to Federal Acquisition Regulation clause 52.219-4, Notice of Price Evaluation Preference for Hubzone Small Business Concerns. The approximate solicitation release date is 19 February 2002. This solicitation will be available in electronic format only. All documents will be in the Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) file format via the Internet. The free Acrobat Reader required to view .pdf files can be downloaded from the Adobe website. The official access to the solicitation is via the Internet. The address is http://www.esol.navfac.navy.mil. Contractors are encouraged to register for the solicitation when downloading from the ESOL website. Only registered contractors will be notified by e-mail when amendments to the solicitation are issued. An official Planholders List will be maintained on-line and can be printed from the web site. Contractors are required to register in the Department of Defense (DOD) Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database. Failure to register in CCR may render an offeror ineligible for award of DOD contracts.
