Description

This publication serves as a notice of intent to solicit and negotiate a sole-source, firm fixed-price contract under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, to the Oregon State Department of Geology and Mineral for NOAA's Pacific Marine Environmental Laboratory (PMEL). The proposed contract is for the development of tsunami hazard mitigation and tsunami mapping work for the State of Oregon, as they are the state authority responsible for participating in and managing the State of Oregon's portion of the Tsunami Hazard Mitigation Implementation Plan. The period of performance is March 15, 2002 and June 30, 2003. The NAICS code is 541360. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. This notice represents the only official notice of such solicitation. See Numbered Note 22.
