Description
This requirement is for the repair/overhaul of Combustion Chamber (CC) Liners (Output NSN 2840-01-434-1083NZ, P/N 4083169-1) applicable to the F100PW229 engine. The government contemplates awarding a firm fixed price requirements type contract for a three (3) year basic contract period with two one (1) year option periods. The estimated quantity per year to be repaired is 90 each for a total five year estimated quantity of 450 each, which equates to a total five year estimated value of $12,404,250. The governments required delivery schedule is 7 each per month to be delivered within 60 days after receipt of order and reparable asset, whichever is later, and continue at that rate until deliveries are completed. Items will be delivered to FB2039, Tinker AFB. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR 52.209-1. The government is not required to delay contract award to review pending Source Approval Requests (SAR?s). Therefore, offerors are encouraged to submit SAR?s as soon as possible. If the government has not completed review of a SAR when the contract is awarded, the SAR will be retained and the source will be reviewed for possible source approval for future awards. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. This solicitation will be made available to interested parties through electronic data interchange. This solicitation will be posted via the Federal Business Opportunities website http://epsa.satx.disa.mil. Notes 23 and 26 apply.
