Description

NA Tobyhanna Army Depot (TYAD) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 with Schlumberger Semiconductor Solutions, 45 Winthrop Street, Concord, MA 01742, for yearly maintenance, including two one-year options, on two (2) Fact ron 720 Test Systems located at Tobyhanna Army Depot, Tobyhanna, PA. Schlumberger Semiconductor Solutions will provide repaired/reconditioned replacement parts and components as they are required; malfunctioning parts/components will be returned to the contractor. All deliverables are FOB Destination. Schlumeberger Semiconductor Solutions shall also provide two system calibrations for each test system per year. Schlumberger shall provide on-site service on an as-n eeded basis. Solicitation DAAB17-02-R-0003 applies. It is believed that Schlumberger is the only source capable of providing the service and required parts/components while maintaining system compatibility and integrity. There is no competitive technical d ata package for the required items and services. Any firms believing that they can provide the required maintenance should contact the contract negotiator identified within fifteen (15) days of publication of this notice. See note # 22.
