NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are b eing requested via this synopsis and a written solicitation will not be issued. Requisition Number W81EWF2017-9084 is being issued as request for quotes (RFQ) with intent to award as a simplified acquisition. The solicitation document and incorporated prov ision and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-01 Correction. This is 100% set-aside for small business concerns under NAICS Code 334119 (SIC 3577) with number of employees not exceeding 500. The US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Engineer and Development Research Center (ERDC) at Waterways Experiment Station (WES), Vicksburg, Mississippi, Environmental Laboratory has a requirement for one (1) with an option to purchase one (1) digital micorobolometric thermal infrared (TIR ) imaging cameras to conduct non-invasive studies on endangered species. Specifications are as follows: Detector: uncooled calibrated microbolometer. Waveband sensed: 8-14 MICRONS. Radiometric accuracy: equal or better than +/-2 deg. C. Radiometric resolu tion: 12 bit. Noise Equivalent Temperature Difference: less than or equal to 0.15 deg. C. Imaging Mechanism: focal plane array (not scanning). Lenses: Field of View-*greater than or equal to deg H x 18 deg V. Interchangability- *removable with internal ca libration temperature sensor and lens type coding for automatic acceptance by camera calibration computer. IFOV: less than or equal to 1.5 milliradians. Sensor resolution: 320(h) x 240(v). Weight: less than 7 lbs. Image Analysis Capability: include a digit al image processing package capable of: *spot and area temperature measurement. *digital image mosaicing. *instant max/min temperature readout in area. Power requirement: self-containing power with life greater than or equal to 2 hrs. Framing rate: greater than or equal to 30 HZ. Image format: *.IRI an *.TIF. Digital storage media and capability: standard commercially available CompactFlash cards with capacity for a minimum of 50 images. Display unit: integral with camera, fold out type color LCD preferred. Video output: NTSC and PAL. This procurement may be quoted as follows: Line Item 0001?
