Description

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Linda Sherman Design, Inc. (LSDI), Montgomery Village, MD for additional programmatic changes associated with the ongoing design and layout of the NIST Advanced Technology Program's (ATP) Status Reports of (50) Completed Projects Book, under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) Only One Source Reasonably Available. Specifically, type changes include: a) reformatting footnotes from back of book to within chapters; and, b) adding an Appendix C with 3-pages of tables; This is a sole source because LSDI designed the original concept and possesses all drafts, proofs, suggested revisions and graphics necessary to complete the book. A modification will be issued to an existing Purchase Order to cover the additional work on or about 02/15/02 and the period of performance is 45 days. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement, in writing. This notice of intent is not a request for competition. However, the Government will consider all responses received by the closing date. Written responses to this synopsis shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bona fide capability to fulfill the requirement. A Request for Quotation (RFQ) is not available. See Note 22
