Description
The Air Armament Center (AAC), Eglin AFB FL has a requirement to provide service for maintenance and repair of Oil/Water Separators, Grease Traps and Septic Tanks. The Basic performance period will be beginning 1 May 02 - 30 April 2003. The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, supervision, equipment, supplies and materials, to support the above requirement. The government anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed contract that will consist of the Basic Year with Four (4) One Year Options. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by this agency. This will be a 100% small business set-aside utilizing North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 221320, with a standard of $5 Million. The proposed issue date will be on or about 5 Mar 02. The solicitation will not be distributed in hard copy. Telephone request for solicitations will not be accepted. Potential offerors may download the solicitation on or about 28 Feb 02 from the following web site: http://www.eps.gov. The offer due date is an ESTIMATED DATE ONLY. An `Ombudsman has been appointed to address concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The Ombudsman does not diminish the authority of the program director or Contracting officer, but communicates contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman shall maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process. Matters of a routine or administrative nature concerning this acquisition should not be addressed to the Ombudsman but rather to the Contracting Officer, Contract Specialist, or the Program Manager identified above.
