- NSN: N/A P/N: N/A Noun: Technical Order Updates Item Description: Requirements contract will consist of one basic year plus four one-year options to support the update of TF39 Engine Technical Orders. Requirement consists of technical writing, illustrating, research (ensuring accuracy, adequacy, compatibility and suitability for Air Force use to maintain technical integrity), analysis of modification data, evaluation of AFMC Forms 252 (Publish Change Request), requirements necessary to develop new Technical Orders (TO?s) or changed/revised TO?s to support the TF39 Engine. The requirement also includes TO status and schedules, conference attendance/support, and cost analysis determination. The data shall address all configurations of the TF39 Engine, and include maintenance of a database for the TF39 Engine Manuals. Applicable to: TF39 Engine Destination: FB2039 Delivery: Various Qty: Various Qualification Requirements: Not Applicable. The approximate issue date of the solicitation will be 28 Feb 2002. The approximate response date of the solicitation will be 01 April 2002. The anticipated award date will be 31 July 2002. Written and electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
