NA THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are b eing requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-03. The Procurement Request Order Number (PRON) AX246006AX is be ing issued as a request for proposal under solicitation number DAAH2302R0239. Unit of measure is each. The NSN is 2915-01-251-0687 and the Part Number is 23030648. This is applicable to the T-63 turbine engine. Spec/Std controlling data, Manufacturers Code: 63005. Mfr source controlling reference: 23030648. This contractual action will be a four-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for a quantity of 71 each minimum to 576 each maximum of a GOVERNOR, POWER TURB. Forecasted quan tities are: 1st Year - 71 each, 2nd Year - 136 each, 3rd Year - 134 each, and 4th Year - 133 each. First year contract line item number will be designated as (CLIN) 0001AA with years two through four as 0002AA through 0004AA, respectfully. The maximum qu antity exceeds the forecasted quantity for all four ordering periods due to surge requirements. FOB is at Origin. The consignees are Def. Dist. Depot Red River, Receiving Bldg. 499, 10th Street and K Avenue, Texarkana, TX 75507-5000 for 49 each, XU Def. Dist. Depot San Joaquin, Transportation Officer, PO Box 960001, Stockton, CA 95296-0130 for 16 each, and XU Transportation Officer, DDSP New Cumberland Facility, Building Mission Door 113 134, New Cumberland, PA 17070-5001 for 6 each. Required delivery is 45 due 240 Days After Award (DAA) and 16 each per month thereafter until contract completion. Inspection and acceptance is at Origin. Offerors are encouraged to provide earlier delivery at no additional cost to the Government. Packaging requirements ar e: Quantity Unit Package (QUP) [001]. MIL-STD-129 markings shall apply. Serial number parts shall require MIL-STD-129 serial number markings. Loose fill materials. Shredded paper, excelsior, polystyrene and other loose-fill materials are prohibited for use as cushioning/dunnage in all packaging operations. Level of Preservation (LOP) is Military and Level of Pack (LPK) is [A] in accordance with (IAW) MIL-STD-2073-1 Codes: JI/A/MP [45], JII/CD [1], JIII/PM [00], JIV/WM [GH], JV/CD [NA], JVI/CT [X], JVII/ UC [ZZ], JVII/IC [00], JIX/A/PK [F], JX/SM [17], JVIIIA/OPI [M]. Supplemental Information: [V 8110-00-254-5711, MS24347-8, Cap Openings]. Reusable container will be contractor furnished material. This part is a commercial/non-developmental/off-the-shelf item. As such, it is now governed by the Federal Avia tion Administration (FAA) rules. Current FAA approved sources are Rolls-Royce Corp., Cage Code: 63005 and Aviall Services Inc., Cage Code: 22819. The Government intends to solicit only Aviall Services, Inc. since Rolls-Royce Corporation has identified th em as the distributor of this product. This procurement requires prequalification. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. The Government provides this price history without assuming the resp onsibility for any resulting conclusions or interpretations that may be made.
