- Provide Call When Needed Single Engine Air Tanker flight services, which are fully contractor operated and maintained, in support of the Department of the Interior bureau fire suppression programs. Multiple contract awards will be made in order that an adequate number of sources will available as needs arise. The contract period will be one year from date of award with a government unilateral option for two additional years. The contract requires a single engine agricultural airplane with a FAA approved hopper capacity of at least 400 gallons of material weighing 3,320 pounds. The Contractor shall possess an Agricultural Aircraft Operations Certificate issued under 14 CFR Part 137. The anticipated issue date of the solicitation is February 7, 2002.
