- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division is issuing this combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, quotations are being requested and A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Award shall be made in accordance with FAR Subpart 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Solicitation N68936-02-R-0041 is being issued as a request for quotation that will incorporate provisions and clauses that are in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-01, DCN 20011101 and class deviation 2001-00002. The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division intends to procure fifty (50), stackable, sea van storage containers for use as targets in outdoor tests at the Land Range located at the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake CA. Delivery of 25 each is required on or before 4 March 2002. Delivery of the remaining 25 each is required by 31 March 2002. FOB is Destination. The unloading site is Airport Lake, approximately 18 miles from the installation main gate. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 336212 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. Sub Contract Line Item Number (SubCLIN) 0001 is a sea van storage container, 25 each, delivery by 4 March 2002. SubCLIN 0002 is a sea van storage container, 25 each, delivery by 31 March 2002. The sea van containers must meet the following minimum requirements: 40-foot, steel (preferable), gray (preferable), used or reconditioned. Offeror must include price of delivery in the unit price proposed (see FAR Clause 52.247-34 below). The provisions at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items (Oct 2000), apply to this acquisition and there are no addenda to the provision. Offeror must comply particularly with paragraphs b(8), b(10) and b(11) of the above provision. Offeror must include a completed copy of the provisions at FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (Dec 2001) (Alt I) (Oct 2000) and DFARS 252.212-7000 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (Nov 1995) with quotation.
