Description
The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has a requirement for all necessary personnel to provide supervisory support, administrative support services, source document review, reproduction of source documents, filing of source documents, data analysis and on-line data entry to support and maintain the Narcotics and Dangerous Drug Information System (NADDIS). The acquisition will be conducted under NAICS number 514210. The proposed contract is set-aside for qualified 8(a) firms in accordance with the requirements of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 19.805, entitled Competitive 8(a). The Small Business and Small Disadvantaged Business Concerns size standard is $18 million. A firm fixed labor hour contract is contemplated. The solicitation will be issued on or about May 1, 2002, and will be issued solely through the DEA's acquisition website at http://www.usdoj.gov/dea/. Click on Acquisitions, then Open Solicitations. Hardcopies of the RFP will not be available. Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation and any amendments. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor this website for the release of the solicitation and any amendments. This requirement is subject to the Service Contract Act (SCA) and therefore a wage determination will be a part of the solicitation document. It is the responsibility of the offeror to get a copy of the wage determination. The determination number is 94-2104. The website is http://servicecontract.fedworld.gov. If internet capability is unavailable, contact the U. S. Department of Labor for a copy. The proposed contract will have a period of performance of one year and four one-year options, beginning on October 1, 2002. Security background investigations will be performed on contractor personnel. Proposals will be evaluated and selection made based on best value criteria, which may include technical approach, key personnel, and past performance. Questions/comments will be accepted and may be sent via regular mail, e-mail, or fax to the primary and/or secondary point of contact in this announcement. Questions/comments will be taken into consideration and incorporated into the solicitation, where appropriate, via amendments. No questions/comments will be accepted via telephone or before issuance of the solicitation. A pre-proposal site visit may be scheduled; the exact date and time will be specified in the solicitation.
