Description
28?Aircraft Air Seal. SOL F34601-02-R-54084 DUE 31 Mar 2002 Chuck Bautista / LPDBB/[405]734-8760. Item 0001 NSN: 2840-01-282-4202NZ, 67 EA. Applicable to: F100 Core Module. Destn: Tinker Air Force Base Ok 73145-3032. Required Delivery: Entire quantity on or about Dec 2002. The approximate issue date will be 1 Mar 2002. No telephone requests. Only written, faxed or e-mail requests received directly from the requestor are acceptable. This part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the selective competition of the item. The 67 Air Seals will be purchased directly from the actual manufacturer or vendor, including a prime contractor who is the actual manufacturer. Contracting will be made only from the current approved source, Pratt and Whitney. Qualification Requirements will be made available upon request however, this requirement will not be held pending the approval Source Approval Packages. It is suggested that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with the described procurement make contact with the firm listed above. The approximate issue date will be 1 Mar 2002. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
