- Description
- The 30th Space Wing, Vandenberg AFB CA, is soliciting offerors for rental of tents as listed below. This is a combine synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F04684-02-T0029 and will be issued as a request for quotation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition circular 97-27. This acquisition is a 100 % set-aside for small business participation only. The SIC Code is 7359 and size standard is $5 million. This will be one {1} job with thirteen {13} task items for this acquisition as follows: The contractor shall provide all necessary tools, including items requiring rental (i.e. Cranes, forklifts, etc.) to ensure construction is completed by deadline. Structures must be capable of withstanding constant winds of 70+KTS (81 MPH). Vendor must provide maintenance within 4 hours of request. {TASK 1} (1) 100' X 75' clear span structure free of interior columns. Structure must be capable of housing a 25 X 27' maintenance crane and one (1) 15'X 20' helicopter. Structure must be capable of closing/entrance/exit with the above items inside. Main door must be able to be close from ground level without requiring special equipment {high-lifts, ladders, etc.}. Required to be set up by 0800 hrs 08 Apr 02, with tear down of structures will be no earlier than 16 May 02. {TASK 2} One (1) general lighting package {TASK 3} One (1)-safety package (fire extinguishers, signage (exit/no smoking). {TASK 4} One (1) 60' X 70' x 10' clear span enclosed structure free of interior columns. {TASK 5} One (1) general lighting package. {TASK 6} One (1) safety package (fire extinguishers, signage (exit/no smoking). Must be completed by 0800 23 Apr 02, tear down no earlier than 14 May 02. {TASK 7} One (1) 40' X 60' clear span structure, free of interior columns, weather resistant floor covering, ventilation panels and be able to easy open/close. Must be completed by 0800 23 Apr 02, tear down no earlier than 14 May 02. {TASK 8} One (1) general lighting package. {TASK 9} One (1) safety package (fire extinguishers, signage (exit/no smoking). {TASK 10} One (1) 150' x 10' x 8' cover enclosed walkway, temporary structure will include walls. Structure must be completed by 0800 23 Apr 02 and tear down no earlier than 14 May 02. {TASK 11} One (1) general lighting package. {TASK 12} One (1) safety package (fire extinguishers, signage (exit/no smoking). {TASK 13} Delivery/installation /removal cost for the above mention items. Contractor shall show breakdown cost for each task item and total price. The Provision at DFAR 252.204-7004 " Required Central Contractor Registration", The Provisions at FAR 52.212-1 "Instructions to Offerors-Commercial,"with the following addenda applies to this acquisition: Offerors shall submit past performance data consisting of three recent and relevant contracts with their offer. The provisions at FAR 52.212-2 "Evaluation-Commercial Items" applies to this acquisition. Insert in Para (a), "The following factors will be used to evaluate offers, (1) price and (2) past performance. Offerors must submit with their quotes with a completed copy of the provisions at 52.212-3 "Offeror Representations Certifications-Commercial Items" The clause at FAR 52.212.4 Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition along with the following addenda: FAR 52.219-8 "Notice to Total Small Business set-aside.
