Description

NA The US Army Robert Morris Acquisition Center (USARMAC), Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD, is soliciting concepts for innovative research and development projects for combating terrorism. The mission areas include Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Countermeasures (CB) and Investigative Support and Forensics. USARMAC is the procuring office for this Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) for the Combating Terrorism Technology Support Office (CTTSO), Technical Support Working Group (TSWG). The BAA package itself will be available only from the following website, www.bids.tswg.gov. The BAA process constitutes a solicitation of concepts from those offerors capable of satisfying the Government's needs. The Government encourages non-profit organizations, educ ational institutions, small businesses, small disadvantaged businesses, Government laboratories, and HBCU/MI's, foreign contractors, as well as large businesses, to submit research concepts for consideration. The BAA selection process will be conducted in three phases fully described in the BAA package available from the web site. The package describes the full process for the concept submission and evaluation as well as specific requirements for the mission areas. Potential offerors are encouraged to do wnload the BAA package from the BIDS web site identified below as soon as it becomes available which is anticipated to be around 1 March 2002. Registration in BIDS is required for offerors to submit their responses directly in BIDS. Early registration is encouraged to ensure your account is functional and to confirm your access to the site.
