Description

NA The Corps of Engineers has a need for a construction contract for Nanty Glo, Cambria County, Pennsylvania. The work consists of camera investigation of the existing mine discharge pipe, construction of a discharge shut-off valve and vault, demolition, cle aring and grubbing, grading, construction of dikes, construction of Vertical Flow ponds and wetlands, grouting the abandoned discharge pipe and installation of a new mine discharge pipe using fusion-bonded high density polyethylene pipe. Magnitude of the project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000; The plans and specifications have been placed on Compact Disk (CD-ROM) and will be provided free of charge. Plans and Specifications will not be provided in a printed paper hard copy format. The CD?s will be available approximately 031502. This procurement is advertised unrestricted. Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractors Register (CCR) before receiving any contract awards.
