Description
The solicitation number is changed from N62742-01-R-2195 to N62742-02-R-2195. Add the following: Provide all labor, management, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, and transportation necessary to maintain the FACSFAC system located at Bldg. 75, Ford Island, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii and facility at Mt. Kaala, Oahu, Hawaii. The work includes performing preventive maintenance, and repair work, emergency service calls, and accomplishing indefinite quantity work items of service and repair designated by the Contracting Officer. The FACSFAC system consists of, but is not limited to, the herein listed. 1) Operational Communications System. This system provides the Air Traffic Control Operator with radiophone, interphone, and/or telephone capability through the use of one jackbox. The operator has the capability to utilize any of 15 telephone channels and 10 radiophone channels. 2) Audio Recorder System. This system records audio signals and time information and has playback capabilities. 3) Radio Communications System. This system provides UHF and VHF radio communication capability between Ford Island, Mt. Kaala, and Waimanalo Ridge. 4) Emergency Communications System. This system provides multi-channel back-up communication capability between Ford Island, Mt. Kaala, and Waimanalo Ridge. 5) Microwave System. This system provides communication of video and audio signals between Ford Island and Mt. Kaala. Communication between the sites is via a Navy-owned microwave system. Communication between Ford Island and Waimanalo Ridge is via the FAA microwave system and leased landlines. Only the Navy-owned microwave system will be covered under this contract. 6) Radiophone Interface System. This system interfaces the Radio Communications System with the Microwave System. 7) Naval Tactical Data System. This system transfers radar information from TDS-compatible ships/planes to FACSFAC Ford Island. This system is based on FACSFAC Ford Island and has a sub-system at Mt. Kaala. The Ford Island NTDS will not be covered under this contract. 8) Fleet Area Control and Tracking System. This system converts computerized coordinates to radar coordinates with updates every 12 seconds.
