Description

The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to negotiate solely with Sterling Commerce Mid-America LLC, 4600 Lakehurst Court, Dublin, OH 43016, for the continued license, annual maintenance and support of the following proprietary licensed software products: Sterling's GENTRAN:Plus for MVS with CONNECT Mailbox and the Interconnect Option. Support shall be required for a least one year. These Sterling software products are currently licensed and installed on mainframe computer systems located in SSA's National Computer Center in Baltimore, MD. Interested parties must respond to this notice no later than 3:00 p.m. February 25, 2002. When responding to this announcement, respondents should refer to GENTRAN02R. Responses should be submitted to the address cited at the beginning of this notice and be put to the attention of Cynthia Spencer. FAXED RESPONSES SHALL NOT BE PERMITTED. The Government does not intend to pay for any information provided. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response hereto shall not be honored or acknowledged.
