- Description
- Short Sleeve Undershirts with base term with 0 options. Minimum - 600 units. Maximum - 720,000. Solicitation will be issued using negotiated method of procurement utilizing 100% small business set-aside. Trade off procedures apply with technical factors including Product Demonstration Model and Experience/Past Performance. Subject procurement is to establish two stages of awards. The first stage will be for the minimum quantity or slightly greater than the minimum quantity to each of multiple sources to allow the Marine Corps, DSCP's customer to fully test the garments. From among these garments, DSCP, with input from the Marine Corps, expects to select one source for the short sleeve t-shirts and one for the long sleeve t-shirts to provide quantities for the first year, which will result in total quantities ordered from that source to be between the minimum and the maximum. The specific criteria used to determine the best source will be clearly outlined in the solicitation when it is issued, which is expected on or about 25 Feburary 2002. The ultimate provider of the yearly quantity of long-sleeve t-shirts and short-sleeve t-shirts may be the same source or different for each item. Availability of solicitations, FAR 5.102(d) applies, as our office no longer routinely issues solicitations or amendments in paper form. Offeror should register to receive notification of this solicitation or solicitation amendments. Copies of this solicitation can be found on the DLA Procurement Gateway (Gateway) at http://progate.daps.mil/home as of on or about 25 February 2002. From the Gateway homepage, select "Search RFQs" from the left-hand sidebar. Then choose the RFQ you wish to view. You must be registered in order to download RFQs. If you are not, you will be directed to register at time of download. In order to ensure e-mail notification of RFQs, prospective vendors MUST go to the RFQ Information page and select DSCP Clothing & Textiles as the commodity center from which notices will be sent.
