Description
Public announcement of proposed procurement (Offerors sought). The Federal Aviation Administration(FAA) Western-Pacific Region has a requirement to provide janitorial services at the Honolulu Combined Facility (HCF) located on Hickam Air Force Base in Honolulu, HI. The total size of the facility is in excess of 70,000 square feet. The initial contract will be for approximately 56,500 square feet. The remainder of the facility may be added to the contract at a later date. The daily population of the facility is approximately 200 employees and 20 visitors. This is a 24 hour facility, 7 days a week including all holidays. Some cleaning tasks shall be performed only at night. The successful contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, cleaning supplies, soaps and paper products, etc. <P> Solicitation packages will be sent to 5 interested firms already identified. Solicitaiton packages will also be sent to the first ten (10) firms responding to this annoucement. Submit a written request for an RFO package to the Contracting Representative. You may FAX your request to the FAX number listed above or e-mail to alice.clark@faa.gov. The Government will not be responsible for any failure attributable to the transmission or receipt of FAX or e-mail messages. Include company name, name of contact, address, telephone number, FAX number and e-mail address. If this annoucement is viewed on the Western-Pacific website, you may reply by using the "Reply to SIR" button located below this annoucement. VERBAL REQUESTS WILL NOT BE HONORED. All requests must be received no later than 1:00 PM (West Coast time) on February 15, 2002. <P> A MANDATORY site visit will be held on February 22, 2002, at 10:00 AM. Contractors must submit to the Contracting Representative the name, driver's license number and date of birth for each person wishing to attend. A picture ID will be required for admittance. FAX or e-mail your information no later than 1:00 PM (West Coast time) on February 20, 2002. <P> It is anticipated that a six (6) month base contract with four (4) option years will be awarded. The FAA will evaluate qualified offers and will award a contract based on "best value" to the FAA considering: 1) total cost to the FAA, 2) Offeror's past performance and experience with the same or similar work at facilities of comparable size and complexity, and 3) acceptance of project as stated in the RFO and FAA terms and conditions. The FAA may make an award without communications, fact-finding and/or negotiations; however, communications, fact-finding and negotiations may be conducted with one or more offeror to determine the best value to the Government. <P> Delivery Period: 183 Calendar Days <P> NAICS: 561720 <P>
