- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) sub part 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a quote is requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This combined synopsis/solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ)F09650-02-T-0191. Warner Robins Air Logistics Center, Robins AFB, GA contemplates negotiation on a full and open competition basis to procure for purchase the following item. Carbon Dioxide, (Dry Ice) Technical, 99.995% Minimum, 55 Lb. Blocks, BULK DELIVERY, Estimated Quantity 172,000 Pounds. Deliveries will be made to three locations on base. The period of performance is Mar 2002 through Mar 2003. Delivery locations are: Bldg. 140, Bldg 169, and Bldg 2077, Robins AFB, GA. Deliveries shall be made as follows: Bldg 140 and Bldg 169; Each Wednesday (with possibility of every other Wednesday to Bldg 140), Qty: Amount required to fill container, approx. 3000 Lbs per week. Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, excluding holidays. Bldg. 2077; on an "as-called" basis. Estimated requirement: 200 Lbs per week. Delivery is required 3 days from the day call is placed, excluding weekends and holidays. Separate pricing for weekly deliveries (Bldg 140 and 169) and for "as-called" deliveries (Bldg 2077) are acceptable and the Government may split the award. Government Points of Contact for placing orders and accepting deliveries will be given in award document. The resulting contract will be Firm Fixed Price. Solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-03. NAICS is 325120 and small business size is 1000. Assets shall be delivered FOB Destination. The following incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 2001-03 and are applicable to this solicitation: FAR 52.212-1,Instructions to Offerors Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-4,Contract Terms and Conditions--Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items; Offerors must include(1) a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications--Commercial Items, (2)Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code, Contractor Establishment Code (DUNS number), and Tax Identification number; 52.211-15 Defense Priority and Allocation Requirements; 52.232-33 Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer -- Central Contractor Registration; 52.247-1, Commercial Bill of Lading Notations; 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration, and all applicable provisions required by Statute, Executive Order, Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and FAR Supplements.
