Description: Work will consist of placing a 2.5 inch asphalt overlay on Texas Hill Road #19 from Mile Post 1.6 to Mile Post 3.0. Work will include cleaning of the old asphalt, applying a tack coat, some minor leveling, and placing the overlay. The project is located from the town of Auburn, California, travel east on Interstate 80 approximately 35 miles to the Emigrant Gap off-ramp (Beginning of Texas Hill road). Travel south on Road #19 1.6 miles to the beginning of the project. Estimated start work date June 1, 2002. Estimated solicitation issue date March 14, 2002. Bonding required. Government estimate $100,000 to $250,000.
