Description

This project consists of providing equipment and personnel to construct waterbars; construct earth barricades to block vehicular traffic at approaches to designated roads; and removal of fill and culverts at designated locations (approximately 4.0 km total). Construction of waterbars will require a crawler tractor with a six-way tilt blade. The work will be on graveled logging roads, a laborer will be required for finish hand work and will be at the work site at all times the crawler tractor is operating. The project is located on the Mapleton Ranger District, Siuslaw National Forest, Lane County, Oregon. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, supplies (except those designated as Government-furnished), and incidentals to accomplish all work necessary. The Government estimate is between $25,000 and $100,000. The successful offeror shall be required to submit a Payment Bond prior to start of work. Contract time is 40 calendar days. Estimated start work date is August 22, 2002. This solicitation is not set aside for small business concerns.
