Description
This is a posting of the synopsis F32605-02-Q-0010. You will need to register for notification with this posting if you want e-mail notification of activity. This is a pre-solicitation notice only. Contractor to supply all plant, labor, materials, equipment, supplies and supervision necessary to install a completely functional interior insulating system in a concrete fire training facility, enabling firefighters to create repeated fires to 1400 degrees Fahrenheit followed by extinguishment utilizing typical methods without damage to either the structure or the system IAW the Statement of Work and Specifications at Grand Forks AFB, ND. This solicitation is anticipated to be set aside for small businesses in accordance with FAR Part 19. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 421390 with a size standard of 100 employees. Interested parties need to respond to the posted solicitation to be considered for award. Response to this notice is not required. The technical literature submitted needs to clearly communicate the offeror's understanding and compliance with the minimum requirements set forth in the specifications or any alternative proposal submitted in response to this RFQ. Discussions may or may not be held with offeror's; therefore, each offeror's initial proposal should be complete and accurate. The Government requires FOB destination. FOB point is Grand Forks AFB, ND. Period of Performance will be approximately 90 calendar days. Offerors must provide warranty information specific to all equipment. Once issued, offerors must review the solicitation to determine offeror eligibility. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered by the agency. We estimate the solicitation will be issued on 22 February 2002. All contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database or their proposal will not be considered for award.
