Description

NA Project Title: Hazardous Waste & Materials Inventory Update Location: National Training Center, Fort Irwin CA Job Description: Sources Sought/Notice of Intent to solicit with one source. The proposed contract action is for services, which the Government intends to solicit with HAZCO, Division of Fluid Tech, Inc., Las Vegas, NV unless as a result of analysis of a cceptable responses to this notice a determination is made by the Government to issue a competitive request for quotations. HAZCO, Inc. is the sole source able to provide these services, as it is the only entity that has been conducting hazardous waste se rvices for Fort Irwin and is familiar with the Governments requirements. The information has been gathered and processed and entered into the existing hazardous waste tracking system by HAZCO. It should be noted that this requirement is for an annual Haz ardous Waste and Materials Inventory. The Certified Unified Program Agency, San Bernardino County is the regulatory agency responsible for overseeing the completion of this inventory. There is a standardized process and specific forms are required to be completed for this inventory. All interested persons may respond or submit statements of qualifications. This is not a request for competitive proposals or quotations. The Government will consider responses received within 7 days after the date of publi cation of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is within the discretion of the Government. This Procurement will be conducted under SIC Code: 8741, NAICS Code: 541197. The size standard for these codes is $5,000,000.00. This Request for Quote (RFQ) is a Sole Source, Small Business and all qualified businesses may respond. All responses to this synopsis should be in by 20 FEB 2002. Ordering Solicitation: The solicitation for this project will be available on the Sacramento District Contracting Division?s Internet Home Page at ?http://ebs.spk.usace.army.mil/? for downloading. Any future amendments to the solicitation will also be av ailable for download from this web site. Requests for copies of this solicitation in any other format than what is advertised will be disregarded. It is important that you first go to this web site and under contract division home page, click on the adve rtised solicitation you are interested in. Go to the plan holders registration. This will require you to establish a user name and password. Keep the user name and password and share it with anyone else in your organization that is responsible for regis tering your firm on the plan holders lists. With our new system, you only have to do the full registration one time. If you have your user name and password, you can always go back into the system and register for other jobs without having to go through the entire registration process. However, you can only do this by using your initial user name and password. In order to receive notification of any amendments to the solicitation, you are required to register for the plan holders list. This will take you to the next page, then from there click on the file name and download. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which will be considered by the agency.
