Description

NA This is a Sources Sought synopsis for the purchase of Long Distance Eye-Safe Laser Range Finders for Range Systems Division, Optical Branch in support of Aviation Systems Division, Air Drop Test mission at the United States Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG ). The following specifications outline the performance requirements. Laser must be of the eye-safe nature. Preferable at 1.5 micro-meter wavelength. Unit must be sealed to the external environment. The unit?s total weight must be less than 300 pounds. Ra nging ability of 15 Kilometers or more. Receiver?s field of view must be less than 3 milli-radians. Transmitters divergence must be less than 3 milli-radians. Transmitter PRF should be externally triggerable with a frequency of less than or equal to 100Hz. Accuracy of the range readings should be less than +/- 3 meters, with a range resolution of +/- 0.5 meters. The power requirement is 115 VAC single-phase nominal. Minimum operating temperature range should be 0 to +30 degrees C, preferably 0-65 degrees C. Equipment dimensions approximately 12?H x 24?W x 36?L. All interested parties are invited to provide their capabilities and estimated cost to provide the above requirement. The results of this synopsis may result in the issuance of a solicitation pack age for a requirements contract.
