- Description
- This is an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity, multiple award contract (MAC). This procurement is for one solicitation that may result in multiple awards. A maximum of three awards will be made under this solicitation. Each contract is for a base year and two one-year option periods. The maximum annual value of each contract is $3,000,000. Task orders may range from $5,000 to $2,000,000. Future task orders will be competed among the awarded contracts. The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, engineering, materials, equipment, tools, parts, supplies, and transportation to perform all of the services described in the performance based scope of work for each task order. Contractors will visit the facilities to verify conditions and establish scope. The scope of each task order may include construction, renovation, repairs, and maintenance. This includes preventative maintenance, periodic operational checks, diagnosis and repair. The ventilation system for Navy Small Arms Ranges must achieve (1) OSHA compliance in maximum daily lead permissible exposure limit (PEL) = 0.05 mg/cubic meter; (2) NIOSH 76-130 design standard publication entitled ?Lead Exposure Design Considerations for Indoor Firing Ranges? for uniform laminar air flow velocity of 75 feet per minute measured from floor to ceiling in an empty range; (3) EPA 40 CFR 50.12 exhaust emission levels of 1.5 micrograms of lead per cubic meter quarterly; (4) negative 0.04 inches (+ or - 0.012) water gauge pressure differential with the surrounding building spaces. Task Order scopes may also include other related incidental work. The requirements for the technical Source Selection criteria factors are as follows: Factor A - Corporate Experience; Factor B - Past Performance; Factor C - Contractor's Capability; Factor D - Support of the Small Business Program. PROPOSERS ARE ADVISED THAT AN AWARD MAY BE MADE WITHOUT EXCHANGES OR ANY CONTACT CONCERNING THE PROPOSALS RECEIVED. Proposers should not assume that they will be contacted or afforded an opportunity to qualify, discuss, or revise their proposals. The Request for Proposals will be issued on 22 January 2002. The receipt date of proposals is 21 February 2002 at 2:00 p.m. This solicitation is available in electronic format only. All documents will be in the Adobe Acrobat PDF file format via the Internet. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 235990 with a Size Standard of $11,500,000.00. This project is not set aside for small business.
