- Description
- Description: Purchase B-1B aircraft inspection stands constructed of lightweight metal. Castors swivel with 90-degree locks and have a manually operated foot brake. The stands will wrap around portions of the aircraft allowing maintenance personnel access to the aircraft. Stands will be separated into segments. Each segment will have a platform capable of supporting at least 700lbs. Workers shall be able to go from one stand to the other without dismounting. Segments shall be easily movable by a maximum of three people. A site visit will be held on 07 Mar 2002 at 1000 at 10:00am. The site visit will begin at 381 Third St., Dyess AFB, TX. The purpose of the site visit is to inspect and measure existing inspection stands and aircraft. Call Lt Matthew R. Keller at 915-696-2353 prior to site visit to gain access to base. The applicable SIC code is 3599-INDUSTRIAL AND COMMERCIAL MACHINERY AND EQUIPMENT, NEC.
