Description

NA The U.S. Army Communiations Command (CECOM) intends to procure the following item: This is the acqisition of: Radar Altimeter Set, Nomenclature: RT-115J,P/O:AN/APN-209. NSN: 5841-01-421-4162. Army Part Number: HG7209AD01, and Honeywell Part Number: HG7209AD02. This is Sole Source to Honeywell Inc, Sensory and Guidance Products, 2600 Ridgway Parkway, Minneapolis, MN 55413-1719, Cage Code: 94580. This is a commercial item and the Government does not possess any technical data. However, CECOM expects to be able to issue a competitive Solicitation later this year and it will be advertised in the Commerce Business Daily. That job is expected to be a 5 year FFP Requirements Contract. Total quantiy being procured on this Firm Fixed Price Contract will be 70 units. The Production Lead Time is 150 days after Contract Award. The Required Delivery Schedule is: 10 each units 150 days after Contract, with 13 each month thereafter until completion. Inspection and Acceptance will be at Source and it will be FOB Destination. The Government expects to issue the Request For Quote Solicitation: 04 March 2002,and scheduled closing is: 18 March 2002. The U.S. Army Electronics Command (CECOM) has established a Business Opportunities Page (BOP) website to allow electronic transmittal of Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Request for Quotations (RFQs), and Invitation for Bids (IFBs) from CECOM to Industry.
