- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Solicitation Number is M00681-02-T-5801 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-04 and Defense Acquisition Circular DCN 20020129. The proposed contract is not set-aside for small business concern. This requirement is for a fixed price contract for one (1) line item as follows: BRAND NAME ONLY. ITEM 0001: 2 EACH EIMCO 5 HP RDT SLUDGE MIXER ASSEMBLY: 316 STAINLESS STEEL CONSTRUCTION, IDENTICAL TO SERIAL NUMBERS 25032-01 AND 25032-02 WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE UPDATE OF MATERIALS OF CONSTRUCTION. SPECIFICATIONS: (a) 316 steel mounting flange; (b) neoprene mounting gasket; (c) 5 HP explosion proof, 1800 RPM, 230/460V, 3 phase, 60 HZ; (d) drive belt; (e) cast iron sheaves; (f) fiberglass belt guard with 304 stainless steel fasteners; (g) 316 stainless steel adjustable centering device; (h) 316 stainless steel shaft housing; (i) 316 stainless steel drive shaft; (j) upper bearing hardened steel and cast iron; (k) lower bearing seal cartridge AM350 & 316l SS with hardened steel bearing; (l) 24? diameter, 316 stainless steel Eimix Registered Trademark propeller with 316 SS Acorn nut; (m) local push button controls station for FWD/REV and local/off/remote operation. Delivery will be to Facilities Maintenance Department, Bldg 22113, Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, CA. Award will be made on the basi s of best value to the government considering the lowest price technically acceptable, and delivery date no later than 14 June 2002. Quotes that are non-compliant with any material requirement of this solicitation may be rejected without further consideration for award. Any contract awarded as a result of this solicitation will be a DO rated order certified for national defense use under the Defense Priorities and Allocations System. Quotes must be received no later than 4:00 PM, Pacific Time, 26 February 2002. Quoters shall provide Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code, Contractor Establishment Code and Tax Identification Number. Quoters may obtain information on CCR registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the in ternet @www.ccr.gov. Offers sent via the US Postal Service should be mailed to the Contracting Office, USMC, P O Box 1609, Oceanside, CA 92051-1609. All Quotes not sent through the US Postal Service will be considered to be hand carried and direct delivered. Hand carried quotes must be delivered to and placed in the depository located in Building 22180, Contracts Division, Camp Pendleton, CA. Direct delivery of quotes is only possible during weekdays, excluding federal holidays, between the hours of 7:00 am and 4:30 pm. Quotes may also be submitted via facsimile number (760) 725-8445/4346, Attn: Pok-Su Determan. Quoters bear the burden of ensuring that all pages of the quote reach the designated office before the deadline specified in this solicitation. The quoter bears the risk of non-receipt of facsimile transmissions and should confirm by telephone that any facsimil e was received.
