Description

The U.S Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) intends to issue an Invitation for Bids (IFB) for Rehabilitation of Boathouse and Bulkhead Wall located at Sabine National Wildlife Refuge (NWR), Hackberry, LA. Work includes but is not limited to; renovation of existing boathouse with boat slip extension, construction of new steel sheet pile bulkhead wall with boat ramp, relocation of fuel tank and pad, concrete, earthwork, electrical, associated site work and utilities, construction of new rear access road, as per the specifications and drawings, all to constitute complete and functional facilities at Sabine NWR . This is not a small business set-aside in accordance with the latest quarterly adjustment under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The NAICS code is 233320. The size stan dard is $27.5 million. The estimated price range is between $250,000 and $500,000. The tentative IFB issue date is on or about 03/11/02, with a 30 day closing. Requests for IFB shall be in writing, stating IFB number 401812B009, complete company name, point of contact, address, area code and phone number/fax number. A firm-fixed price contract will be issued, with a performance period of 180 days from the Notice To Proceed. The anticipated award date is 04/22/02. Telephone requests will not be accepted.
