Description
The Coast Guard is seeking sources and budgetary estimates to replace the chemical toilets currently used on the C130 aircraft. The toilet currently used is manufactured by Monogram Sanitation of Comption, California and the applicable part number is 2900-001. The Coast Guard seeks to eventually procure replacement chemical toilets that will fit into the space occupied by the Monogram toilet described above. The replacment toilet must have, as a minimum, a 24 gallon capacity; can be emptied from the outside of the aircraft has leakproof hoses and seals and is FAA approved. Interested parties must provide the Coast Guard with literature and specifications that clearly detail their product, and an estimated cost adequate to determine the approximate overall cost. If, at a later date, the Coast Guard pursues procurement of this system, we may require the successful vendor to install one (1) chemical toilet for First Article evalution and testing. First Article Testing period will be for a six (6) month period and the test criteria will be: no measureable leaks from the tank, valves, plumbing, or any components of the toilet system. The vendor must provide, with the toilet, sufficient data that will allow Coast Guard personnel to install, operate, service and maintain the chemical toilet system. This is a request for information only. Interested parties may submit information packages and an estimated cost adequate to determine the approximate total project cost directly to Mr. Kenneth Bly, C130 Equipment Specialist, (252)335-6501. Literature packages of less than twenty (20) pages may be submitted via facsimile transmission at (252)335-6452.
