Description

NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are bein g requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is being issued under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) as a Brand Name or Equal in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR 52.211-6. The solicitation do cument and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC 2001-04 (8 February 02 and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARs), 1998 edition, and current to DCN 2002129. It is anticipated that payment will be made by Government Visa Credit Card. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 453998 with size standard of $5 Mil. The requirement shall consist of Contract Line Item (CLIN) 0001, 10 Each, MSA Extreme SCBA Mask, Mo unted Regulator W/Vulcan, Harness Single Poll Waist Belt, 45 PSI ?Stealth? Carbon Fiber Cylinder, Ultra Elite Face Piece W/ Check Valves, Speed-on Head Harness Dragon Fly Watergenrated Pass Alarm. Contract Line Item (CLIN) 0002 20 EA Spare Cylinder, 4500 P SI, 60 Min. Stealth Carbon Fiber W/ Valve Assembly. The Manufacture is Mine Safety Equipment, PO Box 426, Pittsburgh, PA. 15230.
