Description

NA The work consists of dredging approximately 2,000,000 cubic yards, comprised of maintenance material, from a project channel with a width of 125 ? 215 feet to a required depth of 12 ? 16 feet below MLT and 2 feet of allowable overdepth. Dredging material shall be placed in unconfined and confined Placement Areas. Repair of Placement Area Levees is required. The plans and specifications will be provided on compact disc (CD); to obtain a copy of the CD, you must register at Galveston District?s website at www.swg.usace.army.mil/ct. Subcontracting goals for the Galveston District are: 61.4% - Small Business; 9.1% - Small Disadvantaged Business; 5.0% - Woman-Owned; 2.5% - Hubzone Small Business and 3.0% - Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business. Th e estimated cost range is between $1 million and $5 million.
