Description

Work involves removal of existing electrical equipment; furnishing and installing two 1000-KW Station Service Transformers for the Mt. Elbert Pump Storage Plant; furnishing, testing and installing Dry-type Station Service Transformers; and furnishing, testing and installing High-Voltage Switchgear and Transition. Contractor must furnish electrical drawings and data, all engineering, manufacturing, materials, equipment, machinery, tools, supplies, labor, and transportation. The transformers to be replaced are located in the Powerplant at Mt. Elbert Pumped-Storage Powerplant, located on the north shore of Twin Lakes approximately 15 miles southwest of Leadville, Colorado, in Lake County. The estimated price range of the work is $100,000 to $250,000. Required delivery date is 365 days from receipt of Notice to Proceed. The Solicitation will be made available approximately March 18, 2002. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 1796. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 235950. The Small Business Size Standard is $11.5 million. Bids are due before 2:00 p.m., on April 18, 2002, at the Bureau of Reclamation, Attention: Beverly Beckman, 316 North 26th Street, Billings, Montana 59101-1362.
