Description

17. The Marine Corps Systems Command intends to procure research and development services which focus on the development of nanoparticles, requisite delivery systems, operational scenarios, modeling software and related tasks supporting Urban Operations and Anti-Terrorism sole source to M2 Technologies Inc., Hyannisport, MA. Technologies must be identified and developed that can effectively counter non-traditional threats with a minimal loss of life and collateral damage. These technologies must be assessed for environmental effects, using metrics and standards that are science-based. Remediation technologies are also needed to counteract any long-term environmental consequences. The contract term will be a base year and three one-year options. As the leaders in the field of anti-terrorism and Non-Lethal Weapons, M2 alone has the unique specific knowledge and alliances necessary to satisfy the USMC requirement.
