Description

NA NA Notice of intent to award a sole source contract. The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) intends to award a sole source cost-type contract under the auspices of FAR Part 13, to the University of Missouri, Columbia, MO, for a research and development effort to conduct a Geographic Epidemiology Modeling Study. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. Interested parties have fifteen (15) days from the date of publication of this Synopsis, to submit in writing, to the identified point of contact, clear and convincing evidence of their qualifications and/or capabilities. Such qualifications and/or capabilities will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. Responses received aft er fifteen (15) days, or without the required information, will be considered non-responsive to this synopsis and will not be considered. A determination by the Government to not conduct this effort as a full -and-open competitive procurement, based upon r esponses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. All information must be submitted in writing to the address or facsimile number stated herein and to the attention of Mrs. Sue Gaumer. Information may be faxed to (703) 767-4691 or mailed to Defense Threat Reduction Agency, 8725 John J. Kingman Road, MS 6201, Fort Belvoir, VA 22060. Responses to this notice must be received by 4:00 PM EST on 1 March 2002. Responses must include your business name, address, point of contact, and telephone number with area code. If no responses are received, an award will be made to the University of Missouri.
