- NA Aberdeen Proving Ground has a need to procure a post wide construction task order contract. The magnitude of construction is between $25 Million and $100 Million dollars. The procurement is restricted to certified 8(a) contractors and no other sources wi ll be considered. The Government intends to make one to four awards. The Maximum Award Amount per contractor per year is $10 Million. Contractors shall have the ability to be bonded up to $10 Million per year. Contractors have the potential to receive up to $10 Million in awards each year; however, the Total Obligation Ceiling per year shall not exceed $15 Million to be spread across one to four awards. Contractor shall provide all plant, labor, material, equipment, and transportation necessary to perf orm facility maintenance, alterations, repair, and minor construction work in the Aberdeen and Edgewood areas of Aberdeen Proving Ground as well as the following off-site locations: Churchville Test Course, Deer Creek Pump Station, Chapel Hill Water Treat ment Plant, Van Bibber Water Treatment Plant, Hopkins Reservoir, Carroll Island, Washington Court Housing Area, Lee Court Housing Area, and the Trailer Court in Edgewood. All work shall be done in strict accordance with the contract specifications. The G overnment anticipates awarding a contract for a base year and two option periods with two additional incentive option periods the contractor can earn. The base period and any option periods awarded shall not exceed five years. The Government plans to issu e a draft solicitation on or about 28 Feb 02 with a comment period of two weeks. After the comment period, the Government will issue the official solicitation on or about 28 Mar 02. The closing date for receipt of proposals is estimated. This draft solici tation will be posted to the following website: https://abop.monmouth.army.mil. No paper package is or will be made available. The package will not be made available from any other source than the website provided above. Potential offerors may view the Re quest for Proposal (RFP) by clicking on Army Business Opportunity, selecting AMC Acquisition Center under View by Contracting Activity and then clicking on Go. Offeror then selects All Business Opportunities by Number and clicks on the RFP number. Contrac tor can click on Secure Services and scroll to the bottom of the page, where there is a user's guide that can be downloaded.
