Description

This is a combined synopsis /solicitation for commercial items or services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, and FAR Part 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 046748 is being issued on a sole source basis to Vality Technology, Inc. The solicitation clauses and provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code for this acquisition is 5045 and the North American Classification System (NAICS) Code is 421430. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) intends to issue a purchase order for the following software, maintenance, and training: (1) Licensed Product - Integrity and Real Time, (2) License Fees: Integrity Data Re-engineering Enviro Environment and Integrity Real - Time, (3) Licensing Term: Perpetual, (4) Annual Maintenance Fees: First Year Maintenance is required and the-cost is included in the price for the software, and (5) Training- One Basic Course for up to 8 students-cost included in the price for the software. The following FAR Clauses shall apply to this solicitation 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions Electronic Funds Transfer, and 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes for Executive Orders-Commercial Items. All responsible sources that can provide and meet the above requirements shall submit written quotations by the due date referenced above. The award is being issued on a sole source basis because the equipment is proprietary to the contractor with no resellers.
