Description

The Saint Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation (SLSDC) plans to award two (2) indefinite delivery, multidiscipline A-E contracts each for one (1) year with the option to extend them for up to four (4) additional one (1) year periods. The total combined contract for both firms for the first year shall not exceed $50,000. Task orders will be given to an A-E firm based on any or all of the following criteria; availability/workload, specialized experience, project requirements and cost,. The work will be concentrated at the Corporation?s facilities in Massena, New York, primarily at Eisenhower and Snell Locks and firms must be located within a two hundred (200) mile radius of Massena to be eligible. Work may consist of reconnaissance, planning, designing, preparing reports, specifications and drawings and performing periodic on-site inspections of construction work in progress. Work may include studies, capital improvement projects and maintenance projects. The firms selected must have architectural and engineering capabilities through their staffs or through the use of consultants which include expertise and experience in the following disciplines; Civil, Mechanical, Environmental, Structural, Electrical, Electronic, Geotechnical, Sanitary, Fire Protection, Architectural and Surveying. Drawings shall be AutoCad compatible and shall be provided in the format and sizes as required. Submit Standard Forms 254 and 255 by c.o.b., 4:30 pm, March 14, 2002, to: Saint Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation, Attn: Contracting Office, 180 Andrews Street, P.O. Box 520, Massena, New York 13662-0520. This will be a Firm-Fixed Price Purchase Order. This is not a Request for Proposal. This is issued in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The North American Industrial Classification Code (NAICS) is 541330. The size standard is $4.0 million.
