Description
NA The U.S Army intends to solicit a Request for Proposal RFP on a sole source basis to Raytheon Systems Company RSC, Mckinney, Tx for the TOW ITAS Engineering Services. This effort is for the support of the engineering services effort to integrate ITAS into the Canadian TOW under Armor Light Armored Vehicle III which is necessary to fulfill Canadian FMS Case CN-B-ZTK requirements. This effort will be a modification to the existing TOW ITAS Engineering Services contract DAAH01-00-C-0023 and is planned for aw ard in March 2002. The basic requirement will be for an 18 month effort. The start date shall be no later than 28 Feb 2002 and end nlt July 2003. Completed integration is required for the Canadian Operation Testing to commence in August 2003. The perio d of performance will be from contract modification issuance through August 2003. This synopsis is for notification of subcontracting opportunities and information purposes only. Subcontracting opportunities must be arranged between the prime and any pot ential subcontractors. The TOW ITAS Engineering Services requirement will contain or require access to both classified and unclassified data, and data whose export is restricted by the Arms Export Contract Act Title 22 U.S.C. SEC 2751 ET SEQ or the Export Administration Act Title 50, U.S.C. APP 2401-2402. Foreign industry may participate at the subcontractor level in relation to the TOW ITAS prime contract RCS. Foreign industry and/or Non-US citizens desiring a copy of the releasable portion of the solic itation must submit an official request through the respective Embassy, Washington D.C. to HQDA, Attn: DAMI-POC. Foreign owned, controlled, or influenced FOCI entities desiring a copy of the releasable portions of the TOW ITAS Eng Services requirement mu st submit an official request to the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Attn: AMSAM-SI-SD, Redstone Arsenal, AL 35898; however, release is not guaranteed. Requests from foreign industry and/or FOCI entities received by any other means will not be ho nored. Release date for this requirement is April 2002.
