Description
We are currently requesting formal quotations to provide a monthly service contract for our facilities located at the Treasure Island Job Corps Center. The monthly service contract will provide basic maintenance to the Primary, Associate Heating Equipment and Associated Air Conditioning. The facilities includes 11 locations in 7 buildings. Tours and surveys of the sites will be held on Wednesday, March 13. Reservations can be arranged by calling: (415) 277-2407, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. COMPANIES WHO INTEND TO ATEND THIS CONFERENCE MUST RESERVE THEIR PLACE BY CONTACTING BILL CHOW NO LATER THAT 03/08/2002. Quotations are to be submitted no later than Friday, March 22, 2002, 12:00 noon to: Attention: Mr. Bill Chow, Support Services Manager Treasure Island Job Corps Center 655 H Avenue, Building 442 San Francisco, CA 94130 Other Notes: 1. Performance of services will be of the highest quality, maintaining all equipment at the highest level provided. 2. The work will be performed at the Treasure Island Job Corps Center, 655 H Avenue, Treasure Island, San Francisco, CA 94130 and will include the above listed buildings and locations. 3. Award of the contract will be based on quality of services based on past performance on other sites and cost effectiveness. Cost will carry the highest weight in the contract (90%) and past performance on similar sites will carry the remaining weight Any questions and surveys can be arranged by calling me at (415) 277 2407, Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Proposals received after this date and time will not be considered. Opening of bids will be held on Monday, March 25. 4.The extent of the contract will be a year-to-year basis with option years up to a total of three including the base year. Service will begin May 1, 2002 through April 30, 2003. 5. Hours of Operation: The Treasure Island Job Corps operates from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 p.m. Therefore, the majority of the services provided should be arranged to be performed during this time period. However, if there is an emergency or required need for work after these hours, arrangements maybe be made. 6. Insurance and Liability: Service company must be properly insured and license with the proper liability insurance, permits, licenses etc. to operate and to provide appropriate services. Copies of appropriate documents will be required. 7. Wage Requirement: Company must comply with the U.S. Dept. of Labor Wage Determination for hourly wage and benefits. A copy of the wage determination will be provided during the site visit on March 13, 2002. Scope of Work Per Building and Location: 1. Building 363, Student Store: Equipment includes: Rite Steam Boiler Work to include all related Hot Water supply Pumps; comprehensive annual boiler inspection by 3 each quarterly operational inspections. Quarterly inspections on all operational hot water supply pumps. Quarterly verifications of charge on Compression tank. 2. Building 364, Maintenance and Property: Equipment to include: Raypak Boiler, Domestic Hot Water Furnace, Air Handling Unit, Dayton Gas Heaters and all related Hot Water Supply Pumps. Work to include Comprehensive Annual Boiler Inspection followed by quarterly operational inspections. Quarterly operational inspections on all Hot Water Supply Pumps. Quarterly verifications of charge on Compression Tank. Quarterly operational inspections on Domestic Hot Water Furnace. Quarterly operational inspections of the AHU, to include quarterly Filter Change. Quarterly operational inspections of 4 Dayton Gas Heaters. 3. Building 365, Vocational Training: Raypak boiler, 6 hot water heaters, 3 AHU's and all related hot water supply pumps. Work to include comprehensive annual boiler inspection followed by 3 quarterly operational inspections. Quarterly operational inspections on all hot water supply pumps. Quarterly verifications of charge on compression tank. Quarterly operational inspections of all domestic hot water furnaces. Quarterly operational inspections of the 3 AHU', to include quarterly filter change. 4. Building 366, Academic & Vocational Training: Equipment to include: Raypak Boiler, Hot Water Heaters, 3 AHU's, Samsung AC Unit and all related hot water supply pumps. Work to include comprehensive annual Boiler inspection followed by quarterly operational inspections. Quarterly operational inspections on all Hot Supply Pumps, quarterly operational inspections of the Domestic Hot Water Furnaces, quarterly operational inspections of the 3 AHU's, to include quarterly Filter changes, quarterly operational inspections of the Samsung AC unit. 5. Building 367, Vocational & Academic Training: Raypak boiler, domestic hot water heater, air handling unit, and all related hot water supply pumps. Work to include comprehensive annual boiler inspection followed by 3 quarterly operational inspections, quarterly operational inspections on all hot water supply pumps, quarterly verifications of charge on compression tank, quarterly operational inspections of the domestic hot water furnace, quarterly operational inspections of 1 AHU, to include quarterly filter change. 6. Building 368, Administration: Rite steam boiler (3), Raypak domestic hot water boiler, package units (3), AHU's 3 and all related hot water supply pumps. Work to include comprehensive annual boiler inspections followed by 3 quarterly operational inspections, quarterly operational inspections on all hot water supply pumps, quarterly operational inspections of the hot water boilers, quarterly verifications of charge on compression tank, quarterly operational inspections of 3 AHU's, to include quarterly filter changes. page 2 Scope of Work 7. Building 369, Culinary Dormitory: Raypak domestic hot water boiler (1) Raypack boiler (2), AHU's (14) and all related hot water supply pumps. Work to include comprehensive annual boiler inspections followed by quarterly operational inspections for domestic hot water, comprehensive annual boiler inspections followed by 3 quarterly operational inspections for Raypak boiler (2), quarterly operational inspections on ll hot water supply pumps, quarterly verifications of charge on compression tank, quarterly operational inspections of 14 AHU's to include quarterly filter change. 8. Building 487,488 and 489, Basic Student Dormitories: Raypack domestic Hot water boiler (1) AHU (1) and all related hot water supply pumps. Work to include comprehensive annual boiler inspections followed by 3 quarterly operational inspections, quarterly operational inspections of all hot water boilers, quarterly operational inspections on all hot water supply pumps, quarterly verifications of charge on compression tank, quarterly operational inspections of 1 AHU, to include quarterly filter change. 9. Gymnasium: Lennox Package Units (2), Mitsubishi Condenser Fan (1) Domestic Hot water Furnace (1). Work to include comprehensive annual package unit inspection followed by quarterly operational inspections, to include quarterly filter changes, comprehensive annual condenser fan inspection followed by quarterly operational inspections, quarterly operational inspection of the domestic Hot Water Furnace. 10. Building 442, Administration: Raypak Boiler (2) cooling Tower (1), Chiller (1), Temperature control Panels (5), AHU's (3) Exhaust Fans (15), and all related Hot Water Supply Pumps. Work to include comprehensive Annual Boiler Inspections followed by quarterly Operational Inspections, quarterly Operational Inspections of the Hot Water Boilers, Quarterly Operational Inspections of the cooling Tower, Quarterly Operational Inspection of the Chiller, Quarterly Inspections of the Exhaust Fans, Quarterly Inspections of the Temperature Control Panels to include compressor and the Thermostats, Quarterly Operational Inspections of all hot Water Supply Pumps, Quarterly Verifications of charge on Compression Tank, Quarterly Operational Inspections of 3 AHU's to include quarterly filter changes.
