Description
RMS Block Release 3.0 The purpose of this announcement is to notify industry of the Air Force's intent to award a sole source GSA delivery order modification to purchase engineering services that will result in the completion of Requirements Management System (RMS) Block Release 3. Specifically, this includes system testing, production testing, implementation and documentation support for 19 new requirements, designed, coded, unit and string tested by the incumbent contractor. Completion of RMS Block 3 involves the modernization and enhancement of the Secondary Item Requirement System (D200.A) and the Central Secondary Item Stratification (D200.N). TRW will perform system testing, support production testing, implement, and document the enhancements. The extension will begin 1 August 2002 and continue to 28 February 2003. TRW will complete the Preliminary Design Review (PDR) to Product Verification Review (PVR) for the RMS D200.A and D200.N Systems (begun in January 2002). This will include system testing, preliminary Functional Configuration Audit (FCA)/ Physical Configuration Audit (PCA), and PVR. TRW will also support the PVR to System Validation Review (SVR) phase; during which they will be required to correct all software problem reports disclosed by Air Force users during their production test, support the final FCA/PCA and implement the system. The Government plans on awarding a sole source GSA delivery order modification to TRW Inc. 1900 Founders Drive, Kettering Ohio 45420 to complete the efforts described above.
