Description: NA Project work consist of the construction of 18 miles of levee along with adjacent seepage canals. Clearing and grubbing in the footprint of the levees to be constructed. Construction of 27 water control structures. Telemetry for all water control struct ures in the STA other than pumping stations. Demolition of 41 existing structures other than agricultural pumping stations. Demolition includes asbestos abatement and removal. Equipment expected to be utilized: large dump trucks, front-end loader, and b ulldozers with be required to perform subject work. The construction time is 458 calendar days. Magnitude of construction is between $10,000,000.00 and $25,000,000.00. Solicitation will be issued on or about 07 March 2002 and open on or about 23 April 2 002. Solicitation will be issued in electronic format only. Bidders will be provided a CD-ROM at no cost. Interested offerors must register electronically.
